6th International Summer University for PhD students & young scholars "Cultural-historical psychology: interdisciplinary research perspectives"

On June 28-July 3, 2016 the 6th International Summer University for PhD students & young scholars "Cultural-historical psychology: interdisciplinary research perspectives" was held in Moscow State University of Psychology & Education with the support of the International Society for Cultural-historical Activity Research (ISCAR).
 
According the tradition of ISCAR Summer Universities held in MSUPE since 2010, the event brought together international experts in the field of cultural-historical theory & activity approach & participants from all over the world.

International Symposium Lev Vygotsky and Modern Childhood

The main objectives of the Symposium  include analysis and discussion of the notions that describe  a child, childhood and growing up period typical for the first half of the 20th century and early 21st century; reflection of the use of concepts of cultural-historical theory in contemporary studies of childhood and maturation; the main achievements in the development of this theory; rethinking of the content of basic concepts/metaphors of cultural-historical theory in the context of features of modern society.
