On the period from the 3th to 8th of July 7th ISCAR Summer University for PhD students will be held

The program topic of 2017 year is “Cultural-historical psychology: interdisciplinary research perspectives & social practices”. The 7th ISCAR Summer University aims at investigating the perspectives of interdisciplinary research in the framework of cultural-historical and activity theory as a way to deal with various problems that emerge in modern education and social practicies. 
The ISCAR SU unites young scientists from all over the world who carries out investigations in the field of cultural-historical psychology and who develop ideas of L.S.Vygotsky, A.N.Leontyev, A.R.Luria, D.B.Elkonin and V.V.Davydov and other prominent psychologists.

International Symposium Lev Vygotsky and Modern Childhood

The main objectives of the Symposium  include analysis and discussion of the notions that describe  a child, childhood and growing up period typical for the first half of the 20th century and early 21st century; reflection of the use of concepts of cultural-historical theory in contemporary studies of childhood and maturation; the main achievements in the development of this theory; rethinking of the content of basic concepts/metaphors of cultural-historical theory in the context of features of modern society.

6th International Summer University for PhD students & young scholars "Cultural-historical psychology: interdisciplinary research perspectives"

On June 28-July 3, 2016 the 6th International Summer University for PhD students & young scholars "Cultural-historical psychology: interdisciplinary research perspectives" was held in Moscow State University of Psychology & Education with the support of the International Society for Cultural-historical Activity Research (ISCAR).
 
According the tradition of ISCAR Summer Universities held in MSUPE since 2010, the event brought together international experts in the field of cultural-historical theory & activity approach & participants from all over the world.
